I would like to find out stats about how people find websites. i.e. Search Engines, Direct Traffic from entering the URL and referral from links from other sites.
I recently started my own internet business. I have tried SEO and was wondering if there are any other ways to increase traffic to my website. SEO has been slow, and I am not getting the results I had hoped for in the beginning. I think what I may need is a more targeted approach. However, I am unsure of exactly how to achieve that.
How do I drive more web traffic to this kind of site ?

I added to web directories, search engine, blogs.. what next ?
I want to try google Adwords…
Looking 4 msn and xbox live friends?
I just got a new 360 Elite last saturday, don’t have any games but saints row and lots of xbox live arcade titles, still don’t fully know how to use msn on the 360, I don’t even know what my screen name is, if your interested in having a msn, xbox live n gaming buddy send me an invite or let me know your ggamertags and screen names, looking to build my friends list.
If you don’t talk much its cool, if you looking to have a conversation thats cool too, my sister always gets a kick outta chating away with people from other countries, doesn’t understand how people from opposite sides of the word talk wirelessly through a game console.
Any way I’m from NY not to far from Yankee stadium, my gamer tag is MAS86, also can some one tell me how to see what my msn screen name is so I can give it to people, it signs me in automatically on my 360, is my screen name the email I use to sign in.
Oh okay, well my msn account name is gt167spaz@aim.com
A help site for windows XP and Vista with tutorials posted to common questions. people can also ask questions
I only ask this because there is apparently a method which can be used to drive traffic to a website up using iframes. For example, if I put my website into an iframe which is placed on the homepage of a website which gets loads of traffic, I will get exactly the same traffic too. And if the iframe is 1px x 1px then no one will see it.
I got the idea from here: http://www.iframe24.com/
Not sure if this would be classed as Black Hat SEO, I can’t find any evidence anywhere online of people being punished for doing this…
For example, in search engine terms, you can estimate traffic and search volume for a keyword or site.
Is there a way to estimate, or know how many times an app has been download/purchased ?
Thanks.
Is search traffic click through rate heavily weighed by the search engine ?
I got many messages such as the following one asking me to forwarding the messages to everyone on my buddy list.
PLZ…PLZ..PLZ…pass it on …it costs u nothing ..an indian student in USA met with an accident last week…. the car was driven by an american boy…. he has no one in US … his parents cant afford to go to US and help him out ….. however the university he studied has decided to pay the half amount but the other half has to b paid b someone …..THE INDIAN STUDENTS ASSOCIATION has decided to pay10 cents everytime this message is passed on… YAHOO has agreed to this and this is the time to show generocity… Please Pass this msg to all ur friends… on ur Yahoo list… Bcoz u r doing this for some NOBEL cause
Now I do understand that spammers build up a email list with spam emails but what do they get out of IM message forwarding? I believe there is no way you can build up a list by asking people to forward instant messages on yahoo messenger. It totally doesn’t make sense apart from someone just playing around to see if the message comes back to them. Thanks in advance for any answers.
Should I use a Pay Per Click (ppc) campaign, Search Engine Marketing Or Search Engine Optimization?
I’m reviewing various method to generate usable traffic to my website and I don’t want to get caught up in some sort of auto-surfing program. Do you have a suggestion that has been effective for you and doesn’t require a lot of baby-sitting. I do not want traffic exchange programs. I need real people looking for value and not a clicker wasting time.
My website is: http://www.interestingarticlesweb.blogspot.com/
It’s #1 for "ways to gain traffic" on google right now, but is there any way to make it so I can have people search up my site using keywords and not phrases. I have meta tags, and I submitted my url to search engines.
We’ve had our website up and running for 6 months now and our visitor count has been steadily increasing but it is still lower than we would like it to be. What has worked for your website in generating targeted traffic?

Our home website carries little transaction traffic. Will having no SSL or other certificate turn away possible traffic? What other implications for clicks and conversions might be there?

I have it all in a Newegg wish list, I can email it to you if you like.
I basically want to know how well this set up would work, would it work at all, how would you rate it from 1 to 10 for Gaming, and are all the parts compatible together?
First time building a computer so tips, hints, and advice appreciated.
Also, about the Processor Fan and Overcloking.
Would me bumping up the fan speed with EVGA Precision be enough to let the system overclock comfortably or will I actually require more cooling power?
So 64-Bit is necessary for Home Premium to use more then 4GB of my RAM?
Since this is my first time building a PC would a Full Tower be better so I have enough space for mistakes and more room to work with or would a Mid Tower make my first PC Building experience easier?
Lately I have developed a blog. I want that the blog should appear while searching it through search engine.
