i have a very good website loaded with several articles and investment strategies but i simply get confused when it comes to driving traffic because i don’t even know where to start from. All need is not just traffic but i also need need to master the art of generating good traffic on monthly basis.
I’ve used Guaranteed Web Traffic, E-Mail blasts, and BLEW money FAST with Google Adwords. Nothing worked even the slightest bit. Got a ton of hits, but zero conversions, and a bunch of dead IP addresses. Anyone know a REAL way to generate legit web hits? I don’t feel like wasting anymore money on stuff that brings no results.
I used revisitors.com for web traffic (in which 80% of the traffic was from an "unknown" IP address, aka, a fake bot), emailblaster.com for bulk emails, and of course, Google Adsense for search engine rankings and keywords. I didn’t see results from either 3, and spent A LOT of money.
Any ideas of what I can add to my website to get more traffic and generate more interest?

1. In general, when you make a website, what do you do to generate traffic to it? Do you just let it sit in the internet and hope that people come to it?
2.I only want people to click on the ads so i can get payed. Is there some bot program that just clicks on the ads for you so you generate money?
3. Approximately how long does it take to make a steady 00 dollars a month advertising online? Like how long does it take to reach that level of income??
I’m in the process of starting an online magazine. We have had great reviews so far. We would like to work towards generating profit from the website, although we (my team and I) know it will take awhile to build up traffic to the site. I’m thinking about starting my own Traffic Exchange and was wondering what legal issues I may have. Is it a requirement to have a business license? I hope to generate a little bit of an income but don’t expect to make millions. Will accept payment via paypal and alertpay for account upgrades and for purchaseing website hits, etc.

I am thinking of designing a website, the idea is new and not found on the web and very useful. I do not however know how this will generate revenue because i am not selling anything but would like to provide links to places that do. I’m sure if you have been around internet marketing you have heard about traffic exchanges. These are sites that send you traffic but for a price. You have to visit other people’s sites and get credits in order for other people to visit your site. The problem with this is that most of the other members of traffic exchanges are looking for one thing only and that is sending traffic to their own site. Marketing a product or a service online is entirely different from marketing it offline. Frankly, I prefer online small business marketing over offline just because of the ease and the advantages. You have so many options available when you get into small business marketing strategies!
First you have guaranteed website traffic. These targeted web traffic packages will send guaranteed website traffic right to your site. I have one mid sized, and fast growing website as of today. Through a job I have, the links it will provide leading to my website will generate traffic for quite a long time (10+ years). The net income generated from ad revenue for 2007 (using regression analysis then extrapolating a flat value for 2007) is projected to be 00-00. After two years, this website should require little to no updating (after I have generated a large enough article and download database)

I live in the Kansas City area, and in the state of Kansas an LLC costs 0 to set up. My question is should I start an LLC (In Kansas it’s possible to have one one "member") or should I just keep running it on my own and report it as usual on my own taxes?
Note: I plan on moving from Kansas after college (and for Grad school). Would this effect anything?
List Building, Does Your System Work?
Is your routine working for you in building your list? One of the paramount ways I have found to build my list is via the internet and using my wordpress blogs.
If you are into Internet marketing most people say you don’t even have a business if you don’t have a list. By building a list you have a sustainable business model not needy on outside sources for traffic or income.
Building a list is collecting email addresses of people who want to be contacted by you. The advantage of building a large list is you have contact with hundreds to thousands of people every time you have a message to get out.
If you don’t collect names from people who are browsing your website you are missing out on repeat traffic. Odds are most people who visit your website only do so once. By collecting email addresses you are recycling the traffic you worked so hard to get in the first place.
Also, by building a list you might even be able to pay for to pay for traffic since each visitor becomes more precious. Each visitor can be contacted frequently with your message to buy your products or services.
The easiest way to build a list is to put newsletter sign up forms on your most visited pages. It is important to put it near the top of the page so people can see it. Giving away a free e-book is another great incentive for people to sign up to your list.
Pop up forms are also a good device many Internet marketers use to collect names. The good thing about this is you don’t have to change any of your pages to include a pop up form because this goes over your page.
These days with the amount of spam people obtain it is best to have a double opt-in list. What double opt-in means is that people who enter their contact information into your sign-up form is that they must then also confirm they want to be a part of your list by confirming this with a reply email as well. This way if someone goes around entering someone else’s email address they can easily opt out of receiving any more messages from you.
By building a quality double-opt in list you will have a more approachable list to your offers. A lot of people find that building a double-opt in list harder to build, but in the end it saves everyone a lot of hassle. You are not sending spam to people who don’t want your emails, and people who are getting your emails will be more likely to respond to them.

Again, traffic exchanges are great but is there something else? Classifieds are not generating me enough substantial results. What else can I do online that is free and or actually affective?

Successfully generating free web traffic requires time and effort, but you get the added benefit of recurring results. Once you set the snowball in motion, you can enjoy ever growing website traffic with ever-diminishing workloads. Basically, THE more you practice free website marketing tactics, THE MORE EFFECTIVE THEY BECOME. This is not only because you get more efficient and skilled with them, but because by nature they provide escalating returns when generating no cost traffic.
For example, when I first began using Twitter to generate traffic to my various web pages, I was able to drive about 100 hits within 20-30 minutes. At the time I am writing this, I am able to put forth the EXACT SAME EFFORT, but I can generate about 1000 hits.
