Does Putting Ads in Free Online Classifieds Drive Search Engine Traffic?
Hi!
I want to fetch traffic from search engines…
I have already added my url to google, bing… etc
I have already added meta tags to my website…
Now I want to know about free online classifieds…
Does putting ads in free online classifieds drive traffic from search engines as well?
For Example: If I put my website ad in around 200 classifieds websites manually… will that be useful in driving traffic through search engines?
Or more no. of ads is to be placed?
Thank You!

yes..!!
putting website ads in classifieds drive traffic from Search Engines.
you can also put Blogs,Articles to increase traffic as well as back links
I believe you are asking if links from online classified sites pointing to your website will help move your sites search engine listing closer to the top of organic search results.
The answer is no.
Most classified sites, if they even allow links to be posted, the links do not pass any popularity credit to your website in a search engines eyes.
However, sometimes the classified sites page that contains your ad may rank high enough in the search engine results to attract a few visitors and those visitors may decide to visit your site. So, you could receive an insignificant amount of traffic from the search engines indirectly.
Submitting to 200 ad sites within a short period of time could possibly be perceived as spamming by the search engines and cause your site to be penalized(moved farther away from the first page of search results) or even un-indexed(banned from the search engine listings all together)
When online classifieds gets traffic, it reciprocates on your ad, that is why most online classifieds run their sites only through traffic and ads placed on their site by advertisers.
