I’ve looked on google and other search engines but nothing comes up and i need this for some research im doing for my social studies class…

I’ve created a website for making computer graphics; avatars, banners, desktop wallpapers, etc. I’ve got a few members but not many and site traffic is pretty slow. It’s a free website and if you join you are able to learn to make graphics, post them to show others, share brushes and techniques, and request graphics from others. Any ideas on how I can get more people to come? I’ve already:
1. Submitted my site url to google and other search engines.
2. Told friends about it.
And I don’t have a myspace or any other sort of blog.
Also if you’d like to join that’d be awesome. =)
Best idea for how to get more users or if someone tells a bunch of people or something and brings in lots of users gets 10 points!

Will I still make traffic on my blog if I keep updating it with new good content (I have no problem on that) everyday even if I don’t comment on other blogs or register it on any other search engines except yahoo and google? How long and how many content should I make? I just want to blog and let the whole world think of my opinion. Thats all. I can do comment sometime (like 2 or 3 blogs a week) on some blogs that I like related to my niche but not most of the time. Its just that most experts say that commenting is a must for traffic. Some say it must be done everyday. Its just that I don’t want to get burned out and compare my blog with other blogs. My blog is about losing weight.

I do not have this problem with other search engines, just with Yahoo. I have never seen this error message before. Any ideas?

i had my auto classified website up and running for a while now, PR is at 2 and i just dont seem to get good number of organic traffic. from google like under 500 a month and less from other search engines. is there anything i can do to increase it with just the tools that i can get my hands on?

Yahoo answer is a curious site where you can find the most stupid, hilarious and useless answers to problems no one would ask. But considering the amount of traffic of this thing, google and other search engines are polluted with this uselessness, making a decent search difficult. Is there an easy way to block it?
